Elementary school teacher who is accused of having thrown stones on the student

A primary school teacher is accused of having a student rock and holding it down.

The police said that the student who has “health states” had bruises on the eyes after the alleged incident.

The 31 -year -old Alicia Fletcher was instructed to the Clark County detention center on April 25 on suspicion of attempted child abuse and battery. Next, she should appear in court on June 2.

Fletcher has been working as a teacher assistant for special programs in the district since July, most recently on Red Rock Elementary School. According to the school district, it was put on vacation in accordance with the negotiation agreement with the negotiation unit.

The alleged incident occurred on April 24 at Red Rock Elementary School and was captured in front of the camera and reported by several witnesses at school.

A school camera showed that the student grabbed a handful of pebbles and threw Fletcher on Fletcher. Then she grabbed it on her arm, but he could come loose, the arrest report says. A little later the student returned and threw more pebbles on her.

Fletcher supposedly threw him back pebbles, and the two went on for a while, the police said in the report.

Then she supposedly rubbed the pebbles on the student's head and, according to the report, held his left arm on the wrist. The police said the student then tried to break away from her, but Fletcher kept holding him on his wrist.

When the student tried to get started, Fletcher captured him and pulled him to her, the police said. He kicked her and Fletcher grabbed his leg, pulled him closer and turned him on his back, according to the report. Fletcher also used her legs to hold him back and stepped on him, it said.

The Campus Security Monitor Deonte Harris finally intervened, the report said. Harris also reported to see bruising on the student of the student from whom the police received photos.

Fletcher told the police that they and the student had thrown each other stones and that things escalated when the student became angry, the arrest report says. She said she thought the student didn't like to threw stones on him, and so he escalated his behavior.

She said that after the report, the child continued to physically and tried to bite her. Fletcher said that she then “kept her head away from her,” the report says.

Another teacher at the school also informed the police that she saw Fletcher and the student in a “physical struggle”.
