The deadly shooting on Sunday evening in a restaurant and event location in Glendale, Arizona, was an “isolated incident where individuals dealt with each other,” said the city administrator's office in an update on Monday.

According to Jose Miguel Santiago, a communication manager for the city of Glendale, three people were killed and five more injured after a fight during an event broke out as a “concert/car show” in El Camaron Gigante, a steak and seafood restaurant. The city is about 10 miles northwest of the city center of Phoenix.

“As soon as they left the venue, the fight in the parking lot escalated and then these people began to shoot together,” said Santiago in an explanation.

The three people killed were a 17-year-old boy and two 21-year-olds; The city spokesman said that the teenager and one of the 21-year-old were brothers. The city previously published the wrong age for two of the victims.

The five injured people include two women aged 20 and 21; Two men aged 20 and 23; And a 16-year-old boy who was operated on because of his injuries and is expected to make complete recovery, said the city's spokesman.

The injuries came from shots or splinters, the police said beforehand.

The names of the victims are published as soon as the next kin is notified, said Santiago.

The examination now focuses on how many shooters were involved and what types of weapons they used, he said. Between 200 and 300 people took part in the event and the restaurant was open, he added.

Officials who reacted to reports on a shootout around 7:45 p.m. found an “enormous scene”, said police spokesman Moroni Mendez.

According to Mendez, several people were arrested for survey, but no suspects were taken into custody, and no civil servants or security personnel have fired their weapons.

“We would like to make sure that we carry out a complete and thorough examination and do the victims correctly,” said Mendez.

The shootout was 97 mass shootings this year in the United States, whereby four or more people were wounded or killed, according to the arms power, without shooting.

Bystander Lupe Rodriguez described the scene to CNN partner Kphho/KTVK.

“I heard people who scream. It was a man on the floor and it didn't look like he had made it,” said Rodriguez. “His father screamed his name. It was pretty bad.”
