FHP examines the car accident in Boynton Beach

Many drivers were very delayed on Monday evening during rush hour when storm swept through the area.

In addition to the chaos, some of the Interstate 95 in Boynton Beach was closed when the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) carried out an investigation of a car accident.

CBS12 News received cell phone film material that showed the consequences of the incident, in which a soldier was near a damaged red SUV along the Woolbright Road exit.

In addition to the crash itself, the audio recordings of 911 dispatchers CBS12 News report that the goals of money were scattered across the highway and two men who allegedly got out of the car with weapons.

“We receive information that two black men leave the vehicle with money flying everywhere and armed with weapons,” said a dispatcher.

In response to this, the emergency staff was recommended to wait for law enforcement before approaching the scene to ensure security.

“You said you could only have AKS advised,” warned a dispatcher.

FHP blocked two left lanes of the I-95 for a longer period of time and added backup in the middle of the main traffic. The authorities finally solved the crash scene.

The Florida Highway Patrol has several times about the type of crash, reports on apparent armed persons and whether weapons were actually found. However, we are still waiting to hear back.
