Video: Saint Missionary of the past few days killed in North Carolina

A missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of the saints of the past few days from Utah has died after they were approached by a car in North Carolina.

Elder Aleki Langi, 18, died in Charlotte on Thursday after a car had lost control and shot on the sidewalk, and hit Langi and another missionary, said church spokesman Sam Penrod in a statement.

Langi comes from Magna and played football at the West High School and the Cyprus High School, where he graduated in 2024. In an explanation, his family told KSL TV that he was “respectful, loving and loyal”.
