CM Boys scored 162 points at Rocket Relays – Newton Daily News

Eddyville Xavier Woods and Chase Trotter won a few of individual events and gathered together to win a season. Sullivan Wilkins went under 5 minutes under 5 minutes in the 1,600-meter run and the Colfax Mingo-Jungen-Alichtachtacht team finished second in the class B division of the Rocket Relays on Tuesday.

The Tigerhawks scored 162 points in second place. They only deposited Lynnville-Sully, which the meet championship won with 221 points.

The rest of the six-team field included Montezuma (107), the Ottumwa JV (42), Moulton-Trudell (18) and EBF JV (8).

Trotter won the 200- and 400-meter dash, Wood's victories in the 110 high hurdles and the high jump and Wilkins set a new career best at the win of 1,600.

The Tigerhawks registered a total of seven victories. They also won the 4×400 and sprint Medley.

Trotter won the 200 in 24.1 seconds and led a 1-3 finish in the 400th Izaiiah Lewis with a time of 55.82 with a career of 57.01 in 400.

The Tigerhawks also doubled in the 800, 1,600, 3,200, 110 high hurdles, 400 hurdles and the shot.

Wilkins won the 1,600 in the best time of 4 minutes, 56.09 seconds. This is the seventh best of all time at Colfax-Mingo. Owen Ament (5: 30.72) was fourth.

Wilkins (10: 51.62) and Ament (11: 45.12) were also 3-4 in the 3,200.

Woods won the 110 high hurdles in 16.71 seconds, but Wyatt Thornton (18.26) and Kyle Wood (18.53) took fourth and sixth place.

Woods (1: 00.96) and Lewis (1: 06.95) went 3-5 in the 400 hurdles, Ament (2: 22.68) and Alexander Rodriguez-Brisseno (2: 32.08) 2-4 in 800 and Lawrence Solasberry and Isaiiah BauCom, which ended 4-5.

Solasberry took fourth place with a career base of 35 feet, 10 inches and Baucom was fifth with a throw of 35-6.

Chase Trotter Tony Buenrostro

Woods achieved a jump from 5-10 to win the high jump, Trotter was 17-10 1/4 to take fourth place in the long jump, and Camden Cunningham had a career-best threshold of 102: 4 to take fifth place in the disc.

The winner -Medley relay team set up a new school record with a time of 1: 41.39. The quartet, which organized the best time, showed Tony Buenrostro, Thornton, Woods and Trotter.

Fisher Grove, Thornton, Lewis and Wilkins won the 4×400 season in 3: 51.15 and Buenrostro, Cunningham, Thornton and Wilkins in 4: 04.21 in the distance medley.

The 4×100 relay team from Baucom, Cunningham, Fisher Grove and Buenrostro took second place in 48.13 seconds and the 4×200 team from Baucom, Grove, Cunningham and Buenrostro took second place in 1: 43.06.

The last top three finish came from the shuttle relay team. The four of Lewis, Carwin Aldan, Willie Fitzgerald and Wood took third place in 1: 22.62.

The 4×800 season of the Tigerhawks took fourth place, but received the third points. The team of Joey Grimm, Nate Endersbe, Fitzgerald and Ament ended the race in 10: 12.45.

Tigerhawks occupy sixth place in West Marshall

State Center Wilkins won the only win and led a 3: 6 finish at another individual event, but Colfax-Mingo took sixth place on Thursday as a team at West Marshall Coed Invitational.

The Tigerhawks scored 52 points in sixth place. Ankeny Centennial won the Meet Championship with 182.5 points. The rest of the top 5 showed Lynnville Sully (125.5), West Marshall (103.5), Baxter (91) and East Marshall (85.5).

Colfax-Mingo headed the next group, which included Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (41), Colo-Nesco (32.5) and Meskwaki settlement School (14.5).

Fisher Grove

Wilkins won the 800 in 2: 12.64 and was third at 1,600 in a time of 5: 05.33. Ament gave the team double points because he became sixth with a time of 5: 25.08.

In the 4×200 relay with Buenrostro, Woods, Thornton and Trotter, Colfax-Mingo took third place. You posted a time of 1: 39.37.
