Michigan coach Sherrone Moore suspended 2 games for Connor Stalion's scandal

It was announced on Monday that Michigan's Cheff football coach Sherrone Moore will be suspended for two games in the coming season, and reported for the first time by ESPN. The two-game suspension is a self-imposed punishment in connection with the drawing base scandal from October 2023, as a moor as a coordinator.

The suspension is served in Michigan against Central Michigan and the fourth week in their big opener against Nebraska during the third game. Moore will still train against his Alma Mater, Oklahoma, on the way. It is also expected that the NCAA is exposed to an additional punishment, with a hearing for June planned if further disciplinary measures are announced.

Connor Stalions, which were identified as the central figure in the sign stealing scandal, stepped back in 2023 and has been working at the high school level since then. Moore's suspension is based on allegations that he deleted 52 SMS chains after the scandal was released.

Moore is not permitted during exercises or team activities during the two -week suspension. He led the Wolverines to an 8-5 record last season.
