The right analyst weighs as a family of 18-year-olds who were killed in East Price Hill lawyers for private investigations

Cincinnati (Wxix) -Am Montag announced the von Ryan Hinton family that they have commissioned lawyers to privately examine their son's shootout by the Cincinnati police last Thursday. FOX 19 gave a right analyst to understand better what he would learn from the examination.

The police said Hinton fled from a stolen vehicle when he held a firearm when an official shot him.

Mark Krumbein, Fox 19's right analyst, explained that the shootout had to be examined as a self -defense obligation. He said that the shooter must be in the immediate danger of bodily harm or death in any case.

He also said that he should have a reasonable feeling of danger.

“Action [the person they shot] have a gun? Was the weapon on it, was the weapon short to be aimed at it? These are things that we cannot recognize through the videos, but they would be crucial whether someone has defended themselves or not, ”he said.

He said the circumstances would also be important.

The police said that the official who was shot was said that Hinton had a gun, and they say that Hinton kept them at the time of the shootout.

Krumbein explained that the entire encounter between the Hinton and the officer took about six seconds, which made it difficult to determine the immediate danger.

He said a standard that distinguishes a civilian who uses the self -defense of a police officer is that an official has a number of procedures that he has to follow.

In the coming weeks, since both the lawyers of the Hinton family and the official investigators reduce evidence, Krumbein said that they will be looked at how real the danger threat was whether the official could make an appropriate determination and whether the civil servant followed the appropriate protocol or not.
