Kristapaps Porzingi's injury: Boston Celtics Coach gives update about Big Man

Boston – When Kristapaps Porzingis appeared out of the changing room during the half to go through some warming up, it looked as if it was okay to the Celtics Big Man. Most of the second quarter of the second quarter, he was not on the C bank, but at least apparently ready to start the second half on the square.

It turned out that Porzingis was not ready to go when he retired to the changing room and was not seen for the rest of the game. The great man was downgraded in the injury report with an illness in a questionable way and did not play the rest of the impressive defeat against the Knicks on Monday.

“I haven't seen him yet,” said CS coach Joe Mazzulla. “We will be looking for him. But obviously it affects the game with its skills at both ends of the soil and obviously changes the sub-patterns or changes the things that you can do with regard to the matchup and the play call freight.

Porzingis, who fought in the first round, had another hard start when he missed all four of his shots. He collected four offensive rebound, although some of them were on his own mistake. Porzingis also missed a close look at the bucket because it was difficult for him these playoffs.

The disease is also worth monitoring for its future status. During the season, Porzingis missed eight games in a row due to a viral disease in March. That sparked him from his strength because there were several setbacks. This incidence of illness from the loss on Monday is not necessarily connected to that a few months ago, but it is still another setback for the great man that is prone to injury.

The Celtics tried to lay away the Knicks after they rose by 20 points in the middle of the third quarter. They saw how their leadership evaporated and the C's did not have enough shots in overtime when they fell 1-0 onto the kinks in the eastem final. They also set up an NBA playoff record by missing 45 3-point counter when the faulty shots stacked at the end of the night.

“KP is big for us,” said Jrue Holiday. “Obviously so versatile, person who can either play in the color or stretch the floor. Protects the edge, protects the color, blocked, and we definitely miss it, but we always had this next mentality. Until we know what is going on with KP, we just have to have the same mentality.”
