  • She admitted that she “sneaked” her phone in one of the clips in the New York City event
  • Halle Bailey, Sydney Sweeney and Lisa were also photographed and took a photo together in the venue, as did Angela Bassett and Yara Shahidi

Megan du Hengst could get a “warning” when it comes to your phone use at the Met Gala 2025.

The “Roc Steady” glider shared a look behind the scenes with their “Hottie Cam” at the event and may have broken one of the largest guidelines: with their telephone (and on social media).

In the Instagram video, which she shared on Monday, May 5th, Megan could see how she tried various starters from the inside of the event at a table with Doechii and Angel Reese. The trio roasted every time they tried objects such as “corn bread and caviar”, “white truffle lobster roll” and “vegan lox”.

Elsewhere in the video, the 30-year-old rapper admitted with a laugh: “We shouldn't have our phones, but we do it [anyway]. “In an additional clip, Megan said to another part of the Met Gala:” I crept in my cell phone. ”

Other clips showed that Megan shared a toast at her table and interacted with other prominent guests such as Lupita Nyong'o, which she called “beautiful”. She also revealed Serena Williams as “beautiful” and admitted to the athlete that she had “sneaked” her cell phone.

Towards the end of the video, Megan Ciara lifted Laquan Smith's black and silver dress into Laquan's black and silver dress. She asked the “Goodies” singer to show her dress, and even zoomed in to better look at the details.

“Hottie cam in you met gala 👀😏,” she labeled the video.

Megan might not have been the only one who broke this Met Gala rule, such as Halle Bailey, Sydney Sweeney and Lisa also took a photo in the event location-a further big no.

Other guilty people were apparently Angela Bassett and Yara Shahidi, who were photographed for a selfie by Bassett (66).
