Such the reasonably approved conditions indicate cruel treatment of the civilian population and the disrespect of human dignity. His actions contradict the articles of the Geneva Convention, the additional protocol in connection with the protection of victims of international armed conflicts, the public prosecutor said.

The suspect was charged in absence to have conspired, to commit a war crime, and has now faced up to 12 years behind bars.
