As a Bexar County, the municipality mourns Mariadelis Labrador Siles' death a suicide

Bexar County, Texas -The residents mourning after the office of the Sheriff of the district of Bexar Lang, published answers to the death examination of a young woman.

Mariadelis Labrador Siles, 28, was found on March 12 in a forested area on the Braun Road and the Mustang Ranch. Now, more than a month and a half later, BCSO and the office of the medical examiner of the district of Bexar County have decided their death as suicide.

“It's sad,” said Urbana Rodriguez, a neighbor. “I have questions. People have questions.”

BCSO sent the following explanation on Monday:

“After a thorough investigation of the circumstances in connection with the death of Mariadelis Labrador and in consultation with the results of the office of the Medical examiner of the district of Bexar, her death was determined and officially ruled a suicide.

“We would like to thank the community for their cooperation in providing statements and film material that supported the investigation. We also expand our condolences to the family and friends of Mariadelis Labrador in this difficult time.”

A handful of parishioners gathered on Monday evening on the corner of Mustang Ranch and Braun Road to mourn their death. A monument is only a few steps away where your body was found.

Rodriguez maintains the plants there. She said the news of the death decision was a shock.

“I was in tears,” said Rodriguez. “I have daughters. I feel connected. I can't imagine what her parents go through.”

Even when Bexar County concludes his investigation, Rodriguez said that she was determined to keep the monument standing.

“I will keep it running as long as I have good health and God is behind me,” said Rodriguez.

The municipality plans to keep a vigil in candlelight near the monument at the end of May. Details have not yet been completed.
