Man dies on Sunday evening in the alleged Dui crash on the Highway 85 – The Mercury News

San Jose-a 46-year-old man died on Sunday evening on Highway 85 in a suspected Dui crash, after being held under the car in which he had driven when he was promoted, said California Highway Patrol San Jose in a press release.

The authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old woman from San Jose, to drive under the suspicion, the CHP said.

Around 8:06 p.m. on Sunday, the Golden Gate Communications Center received a call in which a solo collision was reported on the southern Highway 85 north of the Almad Expressway, according to the authorities.

The investigators found that a Black Volkswagen Tiguan had traveled south in 2014 at the south of unknown speed when his driver had the road to the right, the authorities said. The car drove up an enbankment and stormed over, left out the male passenger and stretched it under the vehicle. The man hadn't worn a seat belt.
