Video: Collections CV Monday for federal loans for federal loans

The US Ministry of Education reset the collections in excluded student loans from borrowers on Monday after a five-year break.

Starting with the Covid 19 pandemic and the continuation of the bidet management, many loans were allowed to postpone without financial consequences.

As of today, borrowers who are in default can garnish their tax return or social security if they do not make efforts to pay. The Ministry of Education says that more than 42 million people currently have student debt and are around 5 million in arrears.
