According to a new survey by NPR/PBS -Nachrichten/Marist, who dealt with his first 100 days in office, it deserves twice as many people that President Trump earns a grade of f instead of an -a -a value.

Fifty percent said that Trump deserved the failing brand compared to 23%that would happen to him with flying colors. It is understandable that the partisans would have polarized the President's views, but it is also noteworthy that half of the independent people said he deserves one F, and only a slim majority of Republicans would give him an A..

The survey of 1,439 adults who were carried out from April 21 to 23 has found Trump's political prestige since he was sworn in for a second term. It is driven by views on how it deals with economy and tariffs, but a slim majority now also disapproves how he deals with immigration, which was a relative strength.

Trump's general approval assessment is 42%, including only 36% among the independent. For the context, this would be the second worst rate for each president at the 100-day mark in these 80 years when Gallup looks back after Harry Truman. The lowest? First Trump around one point.

His economic figures are worse – only 39% agree, as Trump deals with the economy, his worst number of points ever, even during his first term.

Almost two thirds believe that food prices will rise, almost 6-to-10 said that the classification of tariffs for imports from other countries in the US economy, and a strong majority said, is responsible for the current economic situation and it is not the result of an economy that he inherited.

The survey has an error rate of +/- 3.3 percentage points, which means that the results could be about 3 points lower or higher. It was carried out by phone (both cell phone and landline), text and online panels in English and Spanish.

A majority disapproved of how Trump deals with almost all aspects of the job

Trump declined a net of 7 points in his approval rate last month, with 53% now disapproving.

45%, like a plurality, reflect a plurality of the grade that gave a plurality, the way he deals with the job.

And a majority disapproved of almost all aspects of its performance, from the tariffs (58%) and the economy (55%) to foreign policy (53%) and immigration (52%).

Almost half also said that they disapproved of how the administration dealt with the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man who has been deported to El Salvador, although a court order states that it should not be deported and the Supreme Court said that the government should “make his return easier”.

The administration says he is a gang member. A judge said that the evidence that is supported was flimsy. Only 35% stated that the administration dealt with the case.

With a margin of 51% -42%, the respondents stated that Trump had put the country on the wrong way.

With a margin of 49% -32%, they said that Trump's politics had negatively influenced them, including two thirds of the Democrats and half of the independent.

Lack of trust in the economy

There was probably nothing contributing to win Trump in the 2024 presidential election than to reduce the prices and the nostalgia of many Americans for the pre-Kovid economy.

But 64% now believe that food prices will increase. That has increased from 57% last month.

When it comes to tariffs for imports from other countries, 57% stated that they hurt the economy. Two thirds of the Republicans, on the other hand, said they will believe that they will help so that Trump's basis still seems to give him a long line.

About 1 to 5 said they had changed their purchase habits by accelerating some purchases because of the tariffs. 28% said they had delayed the purchase of some things.

With a margin of 60% -39%, the respondents said that this was Trump's economy and not the result of something he inherited. This includes 61% of the independent and a third of the Republicans.

Most believe that Trump moves too quickly and wants to follow court resolutions

An increasing majority-61%saying, Trump hurried to make changes before the previous month before 5 points, while about 4-to-10 believes that he does what needs to be done.

The overwhelming majority – 85% – said Trump should follow judicial orders, even if he doesn't like them.

Three quarters of the Democrats are strongly agreed with this feeling, while it is only a quarter of the Republicans.

Elon Muschus has become more unpopular

A majority-54%-Hat an unfavorable opinion of the man, one of the richest in the world that leads the government's state efforts of the Trump government, Doge, the informal department of government efficiency.

That is four points compared to the last month. Only 34% have a favorable opinion of Muschus, 39% in the last month.

Likewise, 36% have a favorable opinion of Doge in the broader sense.

Musk's ubiquitous role in the Trump administration could end until the end of next month. In this case, his informal government counseling will take place – and in the middle of a profit of his company Tesla by 71%, Musk said last week that he would soon spend less time for doke.
