Plea deal in the case of the death of Le Mars Child Death

A woman of Le Mars, Iowa, agreed to guilty of her two -year -old son in April 2024.

27-year-old Sexlyn Tataichy (Tahtay-Chee) was charged with the second degree murder and two crimes for child hazard.

In the plea deal submitted before the district court of Plymouth, Tataichy has agreed to make himself guilty of the endangerment of children that leads to class B's death.

The number of second -degree murder and the other number of risk of the child are released.

Tataichy is convicted not to serve more than 50 years in prison and pay $ 150,000 for the victim's reimbursement.

Last April, emergency services were called to a residence of Le Mars in which the two -year -old child was found with several injuries.

The child later died in the Floyd Valley Healthcare.

Tataichy was arrested and accused in September.

The plea list was scheduled in Le Mars on Wednesday afternoon.
