Procession for Riverside Marine, which was killed in the service in New Mexico – NBC Los Angeles

The body of a navy on the river bank, which was killed in New Mexico last month, was returned to California on Monday.

A procession was held to honor the life of the 22-year-old CPL. Albert Aguilera, 22. The dark memory began at Ontario International Airport and hundreds of people set the route for a last greeting.

Aguilera had a vehicle accident together with two others and supported the joint border companies of the joint task force on April 15 in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. The vehicle in which the trio drove fell into a 10-foot ditch and rolled along a narrow highway and killed Aguilera and another navy.

“He is courageous to go to be honest because they told us that he volunteered,” said Priyanka Fonseca, the man's cousin. “I am really proud of him and I hope he knows because I keep him close to my heart. Forever and always.”

Aguilera joined in March 2023 and was promoted to Lance Corporal in May 2024. He was stationed in Camp Pendleton.

His family held a private ceremony in Menifee. You have not announced where the Navy is buried.
