Hard break for Reds Rookie Tyler Callihan … he grabbed his arm while trying to make a diving on Monday evening – and a video of the piece is difficult to see.

The cruel scene developed in the third inning of Cincinnatis Matchup with the Braves in Truist Park in Atlanta … when Matt Olson Breaked down a deep fly ball to the left field.

Callihan sprinted from his position to try to track it down … And although he was initially able to secure it -it was free after broken his arm into a nearby wall.


The coaches ran quickly around the 24-year-old … and the game was currently a break when they helped him off the field.

Callihan was ultimately diagnosed with a broken forearm – and Cincinnati posted on his X page late Monday evening that they had “a quick recovery”.

In order to insult the injury, Olson circled the bases for a Homer with two runs in the park after Callihan dropped the ball … and the braves ultimately won 4: 0.

On Tuesday afternoon, Cincy will get another bang of the Bönes in game 2 in its series … although it will take at least a few months before Callihan receives his salvation.
