Both trucks left the effects on a median south of the intersection in a traffic light mast.

Nelson was confirmed dead at the scene. The Chevrolet Pickup driver was taken to the hospital with injuries. Molander said he did not know whether the man was released from the hospital and no charges were filed. The case continues to be investigated, said Molander.

The police believe that only the drivers were in the vehicles, said Molander.
