It is the first honor for Presti, 47, who previously took second place in 2009-20, 2019-20 and 2023-24.

The thunder led the NBA with a 68:14 record this season, the best brand in franchise history and was sixth best in the history of the league. Oklahoma City also provided an NBA record for the evaluation of differentials and exceeded opponents by 12.9 points per game.

“An award like this is really the result of our players and their commitment to our program,” said Presti. “They crowd into all functions for the well -being of the team. I am lucky enough to work with this special collection of men, and I do not take their professionalism for granted.”

Oklahoma City swept the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs before lost in the game 1 of the best-of-Seven conference semi-final against the Denver Nuggets.

Presti has been the Thunder GM since 2007. Previously, he spent seven years in the Front Office of the San Antonio Spurs.

Presti received 10 votes and a total of 74 points in the vote by NBA executives. Cleveland Cavalier's President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman was second and the president of Detroit Piston's basketball Operations Trajan Langdon finished third.

“I am very humble to be recognized by my colleagues,” said Presti. “It is a privilege to be a member of such a talented group of basketball managers who work in the NBA today, and I am grateful for the relationships that I have enjoyed with many of them over the years.”
