TBI calculates the former officer in Nashville, which is involved in the writings of the Covenant School shooter

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has accused a former police officer from Metro Nashville of official misconduct.

The former MNPD lieutenant, Garet Davidson, was previously identified when examining the leak of the shooters of the shooting of the Covenant School. The documents were forwarded to a Tennessee Media Outlet, which she later published.

In November 2024, the TBI confirmed to the WSMV4 that the house of the former MNPD officer Garet Davidson's house from Portland was searched a few weeks ago in connection with an ongoing examination.

Now Davidson is charged with his position within MNPD in order to access limited areas according to the TBI without permission within the department. He is accused of inserting several criminal matters, internal investigative cases, original case files and other documents without authorization.
