FBI begins to use with polygraphent tests in internal leak examinations

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced that it can use polygraphent tests to support the investigation to uncover the source of information leaks from the law enforcement agency itself.

“We can confirm that the FBI has started to carry out polygraphent test to identify the source of LECKS within the office,” said the FBI's public affairs in a statement that Reuters has presented.

The Washington Post initially reported on the use of the polygraph by the FBI, better known as “Lie -Detektor”.

The administration of Republican President Donald Trump has intensified the measures against Whistleblower since Trump returned to office in January.

Last week, the US Ministry of Justice made it easier for prosecutors to investigate the media leaks, facilitated the preloads for access to records and statements by journalists.

Defense Minister Pete Hegsett warned of possible criminal charges against former high -ranking advisors who were released for the media during the examination of Pentagonleck. After the investigation has been completed, evidence would be handed over to the Ministry of Justice. Hegsett's command that requires the examination left the possibility of using polygraphs.

The director of the National Secret Service, Tulsi Gabbard, swore in March, “those who recently pursued information” “to pursue aggressively” in order to be accountable for non -authorized disclosures.

Last week Gabaradova said that she passed two cases of secret service to the Ministry of Justice, and added that a third criminal complaint was in the works.

She also said that she was ready to work with the Ministry of Justice and the FBI to examine, fire and persecute those, which hurt classified information that she called “criminals”.
