Woman shot while she drove in Orange – NBC Los Angeles SUV

A woman was shot when she drove to Orange in a neighborhood on Tuesday morning.

The woman was in a Honda SUV in Highland Street near Del Mar Avenue around 12:30 p.m. when several laps were fired into her vehicle.

She died at the scene. A passenger in the SUV was not injured.

The authorities did not state any details about the victim's identity.

The shooter left the scene on foot. A detailed description of the man was not immediately available.

The video of the scene showed the SUV with a broken rear window and bullet holes on at least one side. Several evidence markers were placed near the SUV.
