Rayne's police officer killed by friendly fire | News

A Rayne police officer was killed by a friendly fire on Monday after replacing a call in connection with a knife incident.

Lt. All “a noochie” credveur, 47, was killed by a police officer with a co -officer, while on Monday he carried out a search command on Monday at 1:27 p.m. in the East Harrop Street, as an announcement by the Rayne police department assumes.

On Tuesday, the police arrested Dustin Johnson, 38, from Rayne in connection with the incident, which led to the fatal shootings. According to KLFY reports, he will be charged with the second degree murder and violation of protective protectors.

The fatal shootings occurred while the officials tried to find Johnson in connection with a knife incident when Credeur was hit by friendly fire. Despite immediate medical intervention, Credeur died on site.

Johnson was instructed to the Acadia Parish prison on Monday at 7 p.m. Its bond is $ 1 million.
