The Columbus police said a man who wanted to murder a 6-year-old girl in April died on Tuesday, May 6th, by suicide when the Swat officials of Knox County tried to arrest him, approached him in front of a residence in which he had lived.

The 24-year-old Blake Hutchinson was sought on the northeast side of Columbus due to the murder and endangerment of children from child abuse on April 13 on April 13 of the 6-year-old Eva Bretzes in the district of the Strawberry Farms.

Hutchinson's girlfriend and Eva's mother, the 32-year-old Ashley Fagan, was arrested the day earlier on May 5 by the Columbus police for similar murder and endangering children, the police said.

Around 3:25 a.m. on April 13, the Columbus police reacted to the 4000 block of Migration Lane and immediately started HLW to Eva Bretz. In a critical condition, it was transported to a local hospital with “considerable internal and external injuries” by Clinton Township Medics, the police said.

A few hours later at 10:14 a.m., Eva was declared dead that her death led a murder and an examination of the murder unit of the police in Columbus to the arrest warrants submitted against her mother and Hutchinson.

Based on information received during the investigation by the police in Columbus, Knox County Swat had the residence where Hutchinson came. When the officials approached him, he was fatal.
