Gianni's antetocounmpo had inspiring words for Damian Lillard after a devastating injury

In a devastating turn of events, the Milwaukee Bucks-Wachmann Damian Lillard suffered an apparently serious injury, just a few minutes in the club's defeat against the Indiana Pacers in game 4 on Sunday 129-103. Lillard stumbled when he tried to secure a back rash with 5:57 in the first quarter, and was helped by the Bucks from the ground by the Bucks employees. Milwaukee fears a torn Achilles in his left leg.

The fans were broken by Lillard's injury and knew what the Bucks star overcame to return to the Playoff series after missing the last 14 regular season games with a deep venous thrombosis in his right leg. After the competition, Lillard's teammate Giannis Antetocounmpo shared an inspiring message for the nine-time all-star.

“Obviously it is difficult if someone goes through something like that,” said Antetocounmpo. “You don't want someone to be hurt and you do not know how severe the injury is. You only want the best scenario. But it doesn't matter whether he does not want to see your team-mate, your opponent, I don't want to see someone because I think we put so much time and effort into our jobs and try to help well.”

“You don't want to go down because you don't know how it will affect your career. But at the same time I am now talking about my teammate.

Despite the difficult street for Lillard, Antetocounmpo believes that it will be held out.

“It is difficult to be in his position, but he is one of the hardest and mentally hardest people I have ever gave, and that's why he is the one he is. And I think he will overcome any obstacle that stands in front of him. Everyone will be there for him.
