Flood clock with rounds of rains

Our weather pattern remains unsettled in the NBC 15 neighborhood until next weekend.

Until Thursday evening, a flood guard for all of our MS Counties as well as mobile, Baldwin and Washington is in force here in SW Alabama. Within the clock, 3-6 “rain with such locally higher quantities is expected. Even for areas that are not included in the clock, is heavy rain, which leads to floods.

With our first large amount of showers and thunderstorms, there is a low risk of strong to heavy storms today. I expect mostly cloudy skies outside of wet weather with heights in the middle to the upper 70s.

Waves of showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast until Friday. Remember it will not be continuous. At any time until the end of the working week, however, there is at least 70% chance that you will find a shower or a thunderstorm. Due to the additional cloud cover and the rain -cooled air, the heights mainly hold with lows in the 60s in the upper 70s during this route.

The wet weather will be nearby this weekend, but rain opportunities will not be so high (50% Saturday and Sunday). While we are progressing into the next week, the rain pods will become typical May.

On the beach, the RIP -top risk is moderate until Friday.
