The police authority of Downey, which is available for a fatal fall for a fatal hit-and-run crash

The Downey Police Department faces an illegal death action after a threesome father was killed in an accident in which an officer was supposedly involved.

Raymond Lavalle passed the Cedardale Lane near the San Gabriel River in Santa Fe Springs last October when, according to the family's lawyers, he was allegedly run over by a downey police officer.

At a press conference on Tuesday before the Hall of Justice in downtown Los Angeles, Joseph Lavalle said this from his father: “I was very blessed to have him as a father.”

The family submitted an illegal complaint against the police authority and accused the official of not stopping to help after he had supposedly met Lavalle with a police vehicle. He died of his injuries.

“I know if he was in the same situation that he had definitely stopped and took care of him as if he were his own brother. That is the only thing my father taught us … that we can all be a family and love each other,” said Joseph.

The family and their lawyers say that everything they have received from the city is a copy of a police report in which he examines what happened.

“We are waiting for charges, we are waiting for updates, we are waiting for … The Dashcam, Bodycam (film material), because the family remains in the dark to this day,” said lawyer Michael Carrillo. “So what we do here is to try to bring this to light so that this family can get justice and the answers that they earn.”

Eyewitness News turned to the Downey police, but did not withdraw.
