The 17-year-old NBA veteran is expected to return to Clippers

The La Clippers may have had a very disappointing end to the Denver Nuggets in game 7, but that doesn't mean that the season is not successful.

The Clippers should only win 30 games this season, and nobody expected them to be a serious playoff team three months ago. In this sense, the team should bring some of their most important players back next season.

Under these is the Clipper striker Nicolas Batum. During a meeting with the media, Clippers President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank spoke about his request to re-sign Batum.

“In terms of Nico, yes, 1000 percent, we hope that Nico will come back,” said Lawrence Frank. “It was a dark, dark, dark day for all of us when we had to add Nico to the trade. We said it when we brought him back, one of the best connections in the NBA.”

The reporter of Clutchpoint's Tomer Azarly pursued the statements of Franks and revealed that Batum would probably return to the Clippers next season, even though he was considering retirement.

Via @Tomerazarly: “Despite the last low season and a player option for the 2025-26 season, Nicolas Batum will probably return to the Clippers next season.”

While Nicolas Batum is probably the most intelligent IQ player in the Clippers and has to return, the team urgently has to become more sporty, especially in four positions. Due to the sportiness of Aaron Gordon and Russell Westbrook, the Clippers have solved games against the Denver Nuggets.
