The holder is closed and eight of the best programs in the country are preparing to fight a national title. After a phenomenal regular season, the state of Long Beach grabbed seeds No. 1, but Hawaii and UCLA follow closely in places No. 2 and No. 3.

UCLA and Hawaii have used both consecutive championships in the past four years, but Long Beach State has not won everything since 2019. UC Irvine is also particularly not available in the tournament pool.
