Travis Kelce evades questions while skipping the Met Gala with Taylor

Travis Kelce remains determined by his latest adventure, and the fans hummed, especially after he and the girlfriend Taylor Swift skipped the Met Gala 2025.

In the last episode of his “new Heights” podcast, Kelce's mother Donna could not help but point out the noticeably darker skin tone of her son and asked if he had been browning. But the Kansas City Chiefs stormed it with a laugh and claimed that he was in his “cabin”. His brother Jason didn't buy it and teased him a possible trip to Haiti and referred to Donna's own cruise plans that were diverted there due to unrest.

While Travis did not confirm or rejected a specific goal, he replied vague: “I am everywhere, mom” and gave way to further details. Donna tried to work more out of him and said it looked like he was fun, but Travis quickly gave the conversation to something else.

All of this comes only a few days after the couple had skipped the mostly expected Met Gala debut. Despite the invitation to this year's topic “Superfine: Tailoring the Black Style”, both of which have decided, according to reports, based on employment obligations. Swift, a veteran of the Met Gala, has no longer participated in the star event long before her relationship with the NFL star began.

The two have subsided low since the end of the Super Bowl run from Travis in February and Taylor has completed their massive Eras tour. According to reports, they went on vacation abroad in February, but dodge the paparazzi. In March they were seen briefly when they left a dinner in Park City, Utah, but remained largely out of the spotlight.

Travis recently made a trip from the boys to Vegas without Taylor and spoke about it in the podcast episode of last week. Despite the Solo short, sources near the couple say that the two are still “so in love”.

In the meantime, Donna Kelce also became personally in the podcast and spoke about Travis' previous relationships. She mentioned to meet a couple of his exen, but said she was kept in the dark with which he had dated during college. Travis replied with his usual mix of charm and vague and indicated that he likes to keep his movements calm.

He even teased that he could join Donna on her upcoming vacation in Mexico and said he loves to “show up people” without warning. It looks as if even his mother is not always in the loop when it comes to where Travis goes next or who he brings.

While Travis Kelce shines from a mystery short vacation, he doesn't spill the tea soon, especially when it comes to skipping the Met Gala with Taylor Swift.
