DVIDS – News – DLA Distribution Europe houses local civil servants, emphasizes the compliance of the Hazmat, global support

Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Europe organized local officials for a capacity to take over and a facility tour in the distribution center in Germershiem, Germany, May 5.

The local officials included Martin Brandl, representative of Germersheim County, and Mayor Marcus Schaile, lieutenant colonel Christian Zerau, Commander, German Air Force Education Battalion, Germersheim and members of the Bundeswehr infrastructure, environmental protection and services.

The visit should inform local leaders about DLA Distribution Europe Operations about the Germersheim Army Depot and his commitment to the regulations of the Gastnation. Brandl and Zerau, both recently appointed in their positions, were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with DLA Distribution Europe's functions and mission sets.
