Despite Kristi Noem's unrest, immigrants commit less than crimes than local citizens

If you could be banished forever from your house for a speed certificate, how quickly would you drive? If the slightest brush could lead to the law to be torn out of your family and sent to a country that you last saw when you were 2, how carefully you would pursue your day?

I mention this because in the first design of this column with the hard statistics that show that immigrants as a group are more legally true to law than in the United States. It only makes sense; You have to be.

But numbers are cold, while stories sizzle.

This should not indicate that immigrants never commit crimes. Terrible crimes. You do it. After all, they are still people – this privilege has not yet been snapped away by them. After the script we follow, this comes next.

But an example – or three – is proof of nothing. Kristi Noem, secretary of the home protection authority, is aware of this and hopes that they are. She brought her immigrants = Criminals Tour Road Show to Springfield on Wednesday to complain about the politics of our state, not to help not to help the immigration officials of the federal immigration accidentally get immigrants from the street and send them abroad so as not to make the crime known that they are unable to do their documents. Or to have their documents in order and the wrong time in the wrong place.

“People die every day due to this policy. People withdraw justice,” Noem told reporters during a press conference near the scenery of a murder, supposedly from an immigrant. As if “reverberation of justice” is not a candidate for a chapter in which our current political Nadir summarizes in a future textbook on the history layer. “Dodge justice – America in the era of obvious official crime, 2025 – 2029.”

Suppose we have exact history books that are currently not a safe bet.

Noem continued to throw the administration of blunder bus from incorrect invection.

“Governors like JB Pritzker do not care whether gangbanger, murderer, rapist and pedophiles are free in his state,” she said.

At first I grabbed a handful of statistics to throw back. Like immigrants around 60 percent less likely in prison than citizens born here. But the numbers are complicated if they live in the world of the fact, there are many asterisks – the number could be 30%. Or 40%.

That is the reason why so many Americans prefer to live in fantasyland of Lies – the truth is complicated. Life is so easy if you can simply invent it.

Maybe best to put numbers aside. Pritzker did not serve her own medicine with a foretaste.

“Secretary Noem was often discovered on television, in which law enforcement officers Cosplaying officers were discovered,” said his office. Then he recalled that the occupation of others as dangerous cuts in both directions depressed: “We would ask all pet owners in the region to ensure that all their beloved animals are under vigilant protection while the secretary is in the region.”

Remember that Noem, who thought it looked hard, confessed in her memoirs “no back” that she “hated” her dog, and then led him to a gravel pit and killed the wire pointer -a crime under South Dakota law with which it could not have been charged, and not if you only have a Venzuela -Wartela had been, and no Venzuela waiting time and no Venzuela waiting time and no Waitress and no cabinet officer.

Immigrants = criminals. The big lie is driven home. Noem also tells a radio commercial broadcast in Chicago, in which immigrant crimes are listed with the slogan “Now Leave”.

She could no longer hurt Illinois when she tried. Maybe a little math can be useful here. The population of Illinois 2023 was around 12.6 million. Compared to a decade before, when it was 12.9 million, what does that mean … someone? … yes, that's right, about 300,000 people. Is that a lot? Set it out. If every single inhabitant of the two largest cities in Illinois got up and gone to Chicago, Aurora and Naperville, this would be a loss of around 300,000 people.

So yes, lots of people.

In 2024, Illinois had growth increases for the first time after over a decade of decline – around 67,000 people, that corresponds to a new skoie. Because of immigration.

It's a shame that we cannot have a program in which young, energetic people are encouraged to come to Illinois, get jobs and raise their families. Oh, wait, we do it. It is said in the United States of America, the land of freedom and opportunities that are based on immigration. These future citizens arrive, take root and become more lawful as their neighbors.

Unless we let the government pluck it from the street and ship it in El Salvador to a hell hole to be here.
