The NCAA honors teams with several years of academic progress in the top 10 percent of all teams in every sport. The announcement is part of the academic reform efforts in Department I of Department I and is intended to highlight teams that demonstrate an engagement for academic progress and the commitment of athletes by reaching the top APRs within their respective sport. In particular, these teams have published several years of APRS in the top 10 percent of all teams in every sport. Each sports team of Division I calculates APR in every academic year, based on the authorization, the conclusion and commitment of each scholarship student athlete. The prices are based on the performance of the past four years. The APR offers a real-time view of the academic success of a team every semester by tracking every student athlete's academic progress on scholarships.

The academic progress rate (APR) blames the institutions for the academic progress of their student athletes by a team-based metric, which is taken into account for the authorization and storage of each athlete for every academic term.

APR is calculated as follows:

Every athlete who receives a sporty financial support deserves a point for staying at school and a point for academically authorized enthusiasts.

The total points of a team are divided by possible points and then multiplied by 1,000 to meet the team's academic progress rate.

In addition to the current APR of a team, the four -year APR from four years is also used to determine the accountability obligation.
