Cincinnati Reds make a big decision about Hunter Greenes Status after groin injury

Cincinnati – The Red Plans to put Hunter Greene on the injured list after having suffered a grade in class 1 against the Braves on Wednesday evening.

“You don't even want to miss him for a day,” said Reds manager Terry Francona, according to Charlie Goldsmith. “All in all, he will be fine. We have to take care of it.”

Greene, 25, released an ERA of 2.36 ERA in 45 2/3 innings this season. He has established himself as one of the best jugs in baseball.

Greene will miss at least two starts.

“I felt fantastic this evening. It (stinks) because the dynamics was great,” said Green on Thursday evening. “In the top of the fourth, these first two warm -up parking spaces, I felt how my groin area reaches. I didn't have the feeling that I would keep the team in it from my best or honest man by continuing.”

They do not plan to announce a move on Thursday.

“We don't have a step tonight,” said Francona on Thursday. “We talk through a few things. With Monday, we'll hold out more.”

The Reds are 19-19 in the season. You will play the good in your series finale on Thursday evening before driving to Houston for a three-game set with the Astros to Houston.
