A man who has attacked and killed another man in front of a North Miami Motel in 2013 in a shocking murder that was caught in front of the camera avoided the death penalty.

On Thursday, the jurors recommended that Anthawn Ragan, 30, to serve more than a decade after killing towards the death penalty.

Ragan was found guilty last month to murder the 21-year-old Luis Perez in Motel 7 on November 1, 2013 in Motel 7 in 13445 Northwest 7th Avenue.

After the shootout, the prosecutors said Ragan jumped away like a child. They added that there was no obvious motif and no known connection between Perez and Ragan.

Just a few days after Perez's shootout on November 9, 2013, the authorities said that Ragan and another suspect had robbed a Royal Castle Restaurant in North Miami with a gun.

Ragan also waits in another shootout, in which a 10-year-old boy in the nail studies of his family, who took place less than two weeks after the Royal Castle robbery, claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy.

The police said that Ragan and another man had entered the Hong Kong Nagel Salon in Northwest 7th Avenue in 14832 and shot the boy and his father Hai VU, who survived.
