Cavaliers receive a positive injury update before game 3 against Pacers

The Cleveland Cavaliers may receive the reinforcements that they urgently need.

Three of the team's most important players missed the second game of the Eastern Conference semi -final against the Indiana Pacers. The all-star Guard Darius Garland missed the last four games, while NBA defensive player of the year Evan Mabley and striker de'andre Hunter missed both games 2. The CAVs received some positive news on Thursday.

There is optimism that all three players can play 3 on Friday.

According to Joe Vardon from The Athletic, the team organized a round on Thursday, and head coach Kenny Atkinson said all three players had taken part. They are still listed as “questionable” in the team's injury report for game 3, but it is a step in the right direction.

Mobley has an injured ankle and Garland works back from a bricked toe toe while Hunter distributed his thumb.

All three players are needed if the cavaliers overcome their 2-0 deficit in the series.

So far, the Pacers have brought it to the top team of Eastern Conference, won game 1 121-112 to win the game 2 120-119 with a remarkable Summer-Theater from Tyrese Haliburton.

Getting the garland to get Mobley and Hunter back would be a big boost for Cleveland.
