Invest up CEO Summit emphasizes the economic success in Upper Michigan

Marquette, me. (WLUC) – Economic leaders from all over the state say that Upper Michigan is much proud of economic development. These managers met in Marquette for the annual CEO summit from Investup on Thursday.

The event included a presentation on strategies for regional economic growth and a panel discussion for building trust through transparent communication.

John Tuttle was the main speaker. Tuttle is president of Grand Rapids, a company that specializes in financial technology and insurance. He says that groups such as investup have made great progress in growth in upward economy, even during uncertainty.

The former governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, was also one of the speakers at the summit on Thursday. Snyder now works as a CEO for a cyber security company called Senscy. Snyder says he is enthusiastic about hearing and sharing stories about economic success in Upper Michigan.
