The MPs record two suspects in stolen vehicle criminal criminals

Owings, Md. – On May 4, 2025, the MPs of the Sheriff office of Calvert County reacted to the 9700 block of the Wildfire Lane in Owings for the report of a motor vehicle theft. On May 6, 2025, the MPs responded to several reports on thefts of vehicles and vehicle manipulations in the Kavalier -Land subdivision in Dunkirk. At around 2:42 a.m., a resident of the 1300 block of the Squire Lane observed a suspect in all black clothes and a camouflage hat that manipulated with two vehicles in their entrance. During the further investigation, the resident was a White Dodge trip on the corner of the Knight Avenue and the Prince Street. The vehicle fled from the neighborhood at high speed when it approaches.

Det. W. McDowell from the Criminal Investigations Bureau took over the investigation.

In the early morning hours of May 8, 2025, Det. The MPs of W. McDowell and patrols carried out proactive patrols and observed the stolen Dodge trip near the Smithville Road and the Field Court in Dunkirk. Around 1:25 a.m., the vehicle accelerated from the area when the MPs approached.

The driver was identified as Emmanuel Adjapong Mellish (21) from Silver Spring and the passenger as Ryan Evard Moses Lowe (20) from Bowies. A search for Mellish's backpack revealed a cell phone and a few black gloves. A subsequent search for the stolen vehicle has restored several objects that were stolen during the latest series of vehicle theft and manipulating incidents.

Both Mellish and Lowe were transported to the Calvert County Detung Center and charged with the following:

• illegal intake of a motor vehicle

• Eight cases of villains and vagabund

• CDs: possession of utensils

• Theft: $ 1,500 to less than 25,000 US dollars

• Two cases of theft: $ 100 to less than $ 1,500

• Theft: Less than 100 US dollars

Mellish received an additional fee for flight and distribution.
