Kalteider selected the ODAC pitcher of the year and highlights the all-in-ODAC awards from Baseball

Forest, va. – Junior Pitcher Tyler Kalteider was appointed Old Dominion Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year and led nine all-ODAC selection for the baseball team of the University of Lynchburg, which was announced on Thursday by the conference office.

Kalteider led ODAC this season with a brand of 2.36 this season and threw most of the strikes in the conference with a total of 79, the 23rd place across the country. His strike out-to-walk ratio was a spectacular 7.90 that was the second best place in ODAC and in Division III. In addition, Kalteid's whip was best in the nation with 0.96 23. He ended the regular season with a solid 7-1 overall record.

At the beginning of this season, Kalteider received the Odac Pitcher of the Week Award in two weeks. He was a key piece of a pitching staff who is one of the best in the country. Lynchburg leads the conference in ERA (3.32) as a team, the hits per nine innings (8.30), strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.56) and whip (1.28) are permitted.
