The police in Chicago at the crash location examines Copa Officer-Involved shootings near the Dearborn Avenue, Gostlin Street in Hammond, Indiana

Hammond, Ind. (WLS) – The Chicago police were able to examine a crime scene on Thursday in Northwest Indiana and have a crash.

A shootout of the officials occurred at the location, confirmed officials.

Chopper 7 was near the Dearborn Avenue and the Gostlin Street in Hammond, Indiana, near the Illinois border and the south side of Chicago.

The Chicago police supply and officials were seen in the area when the crime band was set up around the intersection.

There was a crash vehicle at the crime scene.

Copa later said that the police in Chicago will examine a police shootout in the 100 Block of the Gostlin Street in Hammond. It was not yet known whether someone was shot during the incident.
