Dodge Pickup caused an accident in which 7 were killed near Henry's Lake

Bozeman – The ISP examination of Idaho State Police (ISP) on May 1, 2025, in which 7 people were killed, found that the Dodge RAM pickup crossed the accident by crossing the center line on the Highway 20 near Henry's Lake.

According to ISP, the driver crossed the center line and hit the Mercedes passenger car in the east. Both drivers and 5 tourists were killed in the fiery crash.

The van wore 14 people, including 12 from China and one from Italy. The driver had a California driver's license. The group traveled to Yellowstone.

Due to the participation of a commercial vehicle and the extent of the crash, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) also carries out an independent examination. The NTSB staff visited the scene and checks evidence. While information is shared between ISP and the NTSB, each agency conducts its own investigation.
