If his approval rate drops, Trump wants to investigate

For those who want to see the public rally behind Donald Trump when his presidency approaches the 100-day benchmark, I have some bad news: public opinion has turned strongly against the republican incumbent.

The most recent national CNN survey, for example, showed the president's approval rate to 41%, which led to a simple headline: “Trump's approval of 100 days lower than any other president in at least seven decades”. Two national surveys published in the past few days-a survey by Associated Press and a survey for Washington Post-ABC News IPSOS finds the support of the President under 40%.

The latest survey by the New York Times/Siena College showed that the president's approval assessment fell to 42%, and Nate Cohn the Times found in an accompanying analysis: “In the survey it would be difficult to find a” good “number for Mr. Trump.”

It is an important detail: the latest indicates that most Americans not only disapprov the way Trump assumes his responsibility, but also does not agree with the president's agenda, his priorities and even the speed at which he tries to impose radical changes.

If you make things worse, there is no reason to assume that a comeback is imminent. The data indicate that a large part of the public has not yet felt the direct effects of the trade tariffs of the White House. When the consequences of the administration's trade policy influence the life and container pockets of the Americans, it is easy to imagine that Trump's floor continues to drop.

Trump has the shift in public attitudes and he is ready to re -evaluate the direction of his failing presidency.

No, I'm just fun. He actually slips against Pollster in a new and ridiculous way. Newsweek reported:

President Donald Trump said that survey that has shown his approval ratings in the past few weeks in recent weeks should be examined for “election frauds”. Trump quoted recent polls from the New York Times, ABC News/The Washington Post and Fox News, which laid its approval rate for 42 percent, 39 percent and 44 percent.

When this week was in progress, Trump published an object of his social media platform with the inscription: “We have no free and fair press in this country. We have a press that writes bad stories and cheats, big, on surveys. It is impaired and corrupt!” Sad! “

This came shortly after a related object, in which he had “fake polls from fake news organizations”. The President added: “These people should be examined for election fraud and added to the Foxnews opinion conveyors while they are there.”

The Republican describes the survey (and presumably the news organizations that have commissioned the surveys) as “negative criminals” that should be considered “sick”.

The hysterics were not entirely surprising. After all, Trump registered that of the moin to publish the results of a survey that he did not like. Therefore, it becomes clear that he would freak out of survey data in response to an avalanche that shows his fading popularity.

To the extent to which reality has this discussion, there are some things to consider here. The first is that there is no conspiracy: Surveys show that Trump has to fight because Trump failed and noticed a large part of the public.

Secondly, the basis for the strange conspiracy theory of the President is absurd: surveys cannot be busy with “election mixture” if there is no choice, and the politician in question cannot run for re -election. (Even if there was a choice, of course there is nothing inadmissible to publish public opinion research that a party does not like.)

Third and above all, some could feel the temptation to simply beat Trump's demand for an examination of the “criminal” surveys, but in view of the recent events, this seems risky. This president has already shown the willingness to lead the Ministry of Justice, to pursue his perceived enemies, and there is no reason to assume that he will give up this authoritarian tactic shortly.
