Man dies weeks after the car accident

According to NYPD, Bensonhurst-a 61-year-old man died of injuries that were suffered in a car accident at the beginning of this month.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 6th, the police reacted to a collision with a pedestrian on Bay Parkway and 60th Street. An investigation showed that a Volkswagen Atlas, who was operated by a 48-year-old man, had traveled to the south when he drove to west with pedestrians Behcet Behcet Deluoglu from Bensonhurst, who was to the west on the 60th.

Ems reacted and transported Deluoglu to the Maimonides Medical Center in a stable state. However, the police said that he was succumbed to his injuries by the incident on April 25.

The driver remained on site. There were no arrests and the investigation continues by the collision examination command of the NYPD Highway District.
