In cooperation with the national military month of appreciation in May, Score, a national non -profit organization that supports small companies, has developed specific resources for using their 10,000 mentors at national level at mentoring veterans.

The Score Veterans Small Business Resource Guide has veteran -specific resources to provide insights into the development of a business plan, the securing of financial resources, the establishment of a company, the purchase of a franchise, the connection with one of the voluntary mentors from score and a better understanding of companies through webinars and workshops.

“Voluntary work at Score is my way of showing me to show appreciation during my career, while I share my background and my experience with the success of the entrepreneur,” said Ed Coleman, Vice President of the Regional Vice President with MID-Atlantic. “While I like to work with all the scores as a veteran of the US Army, I particularly like to work with veterans to translate their military experience into entrepreneurship. To help customers recognize their dreams is very gratifying and the essence of the score mission.”

According to Leah Cianfrani, co-chair of Bucks County Chapter, mentors constantly expanded their knowledge of knowledge in order to better support veterans on their entrepreneurial journey.

“The military transition from active service has different needs as civilians in relation to the establishment of a company,” said Cianfrani. “It is wonderful that veteran resources help with the fingertips of our volunteers to look after our service men and women.”

Veterans make up about 10 percent of the customer base. Veterans have 10 percent of small companies and 14 percent of the franchise company. Franchisers have a defined plan of the business

If the veterans participate, the perfect franchisee will be able to effectively carry out the intended plans.

Nationally, veterans have almost 2 million companies, employ more than 5 million Americans and generate more than 1 trillion US dollar in annual income. Of these, 40 percent of veteran companies achieve annual turnover of more than $ 500,000.
