Officials determine the cause of death for the former offensive lineman of the state of Ohio

Officials have determined the cause of death for a former offensive lineman in the state of Ohio.

The Coroner's Office by Clark County in Nevada told WKYC-TV in Cleveland that Ben Christman died of heart diseases (cardiomyopathy) and an irregular heartbeat (cardiac rhythmia).

He was 21.

Christman, a senior who had joined Kentucky from the UNLV soccer team after moving from Kentucky, was found dead in February in an apartment outside the campus.

He was originally a high -ranking view in recruitment class 2021, which was registered in the state of Ohio.

The one from Richland, Ohio, he was talking to in Ohio State in his first season and played in a game in 2022 before moving to Kentucky.

Christman did not play because of a knee injury in 2023, but he performed in special teams in all 12 games last season before switching to UNLV.

In his honor, the Christman family founded a scholarship fund at the Revere High School, its Alma Mater.
