Trump fires abrupt librarian of the congress in the recent cleaning of the government | Trump Administration

Donald Trump abruptly dismissed the congress librarian Carla Hayden on Thursday when the White House continued to remove the federal government by those who were understood as a Republican US President and his agenda against the Republican US president.

On late Thursday, Hayden was informed in an e -mail by the Presidential Personal of the White House from an e -mail by The Associated Press by the President's Bureau of the White House. Hayden was confirmed by the Senate in 2016 and was the first woman and the first African American to be the librarian of the congress.

“Carla”, the e -mail began. “In the name of President Donald J. Trump, I write to inform you that your position as a librarian of the congress will immediately end. Thank you for your service.” A spokesman for the congress library confirmed that the White House of Hayden said she was released.

Hayden, whose 10-year term was to run next year, had experienced a political counter-reaction of a conservative advocacy group that had sworn to eradicate those who stood for Trump's right-wing agenda by law. The group, the American Accountability Foundation, accuses Hayden and other library leaders to promote children's books with “radicals” content and literary materials written by Trump opponents.

“The current #librarian fan gress Carla Hayden has woken up, anti-trump and promotes the transmission of children,” said the AAF on Thursday on Thursday, just a few hours before shooting. “It's time to get you out and set a new man for the job!”

Trump has frozen officials from whom he believes that they do not match his agenda, from Ministry of Justice to the Pentagon and beyond. Sometimes the shots come after conservative voices that carry out civil servants for criticism.

On Thursday, the acting administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) was displaced the day after his statement that he did not agree with suggestions to dismantle the organization. Trump has proposed that individual states, not the Fema, should take the lead to react to hurrican, tornados and other such crises.

In the Pentagon, more than half a dozen top general officers have been released since January, including the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Gen CQ Brown Jr., the only two women who serve as four-star officers, as well as a disproportionate number of other high-ranking female officers.

The unexpected step on Thursday against Hayden was angry with the Democrats of the Congress, which initially revealed the discharge.

“Enough is enough,” said the democratic chairman of the Senate, Chuck Schumer from New York, who called Hayden a “pioneer, a scholar and an official of the highest order”.

Connecticut, Rosa Delauro, the best democrat of the House Appropriations Committee, said Hayden was “fired by Trump” and asked for a government statement about why it was released.

“Hayden spent her entire career to serve people – from children reading reading to the protection of some of the most valuable treasures of our nation,” said Congressman Joseph Morelle from New York, the best democrat of the House Administration Committee, who monitors the library. “She is an American heroine,” he said.

The congress library compared to the US Capitol in Washington DC has a large collection of books and the history of the country, which it provides the public and legislator. It houses the newspapers of almost two dozen presidents and more than three dozen judges of the Supreme Court.

There are also collections of rare books, pictures and music trunes and artifacts – like a flute of President James Madison, which the singer Lizzo played in a performance arranged by Hayden in 2022.

The democratic leaders praised Hayden, who was the long -time leader of the Baltimore library system, for a term that modernized the library and made it more accessible.

The leader of the house minorities, Hakeem Jeffries from New York, applauded Hayden as “an experienced, fundamental and respected librarian of the congress”.

“Donald Trump's unjust decision to relieve Dr. Hayden in an e -mail from a random political hack is a shame and the latest in his constant efforts to prohibit books, to ban American history Whitwash story and to turn the clock back,” said Jeffries.

“The library of the congress is the Volksbibliothek. It will be more responsible for this unprecedented attack on the American lifestyle earlier than later later than later later.

Robert Newlen, the deputy librarian, said that he would act in a separate e -mail that was seen by the AP as the reigning librarian of the congress “until further instruction”.

Hayden recently spoke about how libraries changed their own life and opened them for the world. “Libraries are the great balance,” she posted on X last month during the National Library Week.

“And if you have a free public library in particular,” she said that it is an “opportunity center for people all areas of life, and you give you the opportunity to make decisions about what information, entertainment and inspiration mean for you the most.”
