The only known “cocaine bar” of the world

In a new Vice Documentary, moderator Zach Shucklin is looking for Route 36, the only known “cocaine bar” in the world. The notorious lounge bar is located in the mountains outside the Bolivian capital La Paz and promises a high Purity cola on the gram -on a silver plate together with a delicious cocktail of choice of the customer.

On the way, Shucklin learns about the rich history of Coca agriculture in Bolivia and meets a local witch doctor – or “Yatiririri” to explore the cultural purposes of the sheet.

Route 36, which is only open, is regularly on the premises to avoid the local authorities. Nevertheless, his existence seems to be an open secret in La Paz that suggests that it remains an element of corruption in the game.
