The moped driver was seriously injured after the crash in Lansing

Lansing, me. (Wilx) – A moped driver is in a critical condition after a crash on Friday in Lansing.

The police said that the crash was taken at the intersection of MLK and Mary. LPD told News 10 that a Chevy Equinox drove to the east and tried a left act on MLK, while the moped on Cavanaugh drove west and tried to cross MLK.

The Equinox had no other passengers than the driver. This driver was intact. The moped driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is still being examined. Details on the condition of the moped driver are unknown.

This crash takes place only a few days after the LPD has announced that patrols and warning drivers take on potential security risks for motorcyclists.
