Video: woman shattered car window in Cedar Park by chance

A Cedar Park woman was caught in front of the camera, which smashed car windows in an entrance in a neighborhood near the Leander High School.

What happened?

The background story:

In surveillance video by Erica Paraskevakos 'Haus on May 1st, you can see a woman from a black car who drives a shovel to the cars in Paraskevakos' driveway and shattered the window on a car before shattered the windshield of someone else.

Paraskevakos says she found out after her son started screaming. They looked through their surveillance video. Paraskevakos says she has never seen the woman.

“I was somehow amazed,” said Paraskevakos. “I thought maybe an old girlfriend sent an old friend, and so somehow we drove around. Then I thought, the more I thought about it, as you know, she really seems to be random. As if she was barefoot in her pajamas. She looked really proud of herself. It's just bizarre.”

Car glass now made repairs on Friday morning and replaces the damaged windshield. Everything cost almost 1,000 US dollars.

Paraskevakos says the woman didn't hit other cars on the street and it is usually a beautiful neighborhood.

“It is pretty sure everyone looks at each other,” she said.

She gave the perpetrator a message.

“Please take your medication,” she said. “Mental health is important. Be aware of yourself. If you know that you will be a danger to society, please take your medication or at least have an accountability.”

The Cedar Park police said the case was assigned to a detective, but had no other information.
