West Philadelphia – – A fire in a Rowhome in West Philadelphia claimed a person's life while another person was taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire is examined, officials said.

Firefighters arrived shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday before 3 p.m. on 8:00 p.m. on the 200 p.m. fire on the 200 Block of the North Ruby Street.

According to the authorities, the crews were hit on both floors of the two -story house with heavy fire.

They fought about 20 minutes before putting the fire under control.

Deadly fire:

Firefighters saved a person from the burning house and this person was treated by Ems and then taken to a nearby hospital.

The crews discovered another person in the house, but this person died at the scene.
